Dallas-based Plastic Surgeon William P. Adams Jr., M.D is an international expert on breast augmentation, breast implants, including cohesive gel implants and breast lift procedures. He has developed new techniques for use in breast implant surgery that has made breast augmentation and breast revisions safer for patients.
Dr. Adams is also active in educating plastic surgeons around the country on the new level of breast augmentation including a re-defined patient experience and 24 fast track recovery. Dr. Adams has published more and has invited to perform live breast surgeries in the past five years than any other surgeon. He performs plastic surgery in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Adams has published numerous papers and chapters as well as presented multiple plastic surgery lectures on an international level. He is on the breast editorial board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the premier journal of plastic surgery, the Editorial board of The Aesthetic Surgery Journal and is currently the president of Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation.
Mentor Corporation named Dr. Adams the national medical director for the Mentor Cohesive Gel Implant clinical trial in 2002.
Dr. Adams has recently published a textbook, a surgical atlas to further educate surgeons on breast augmentation.
Two years ago Dr. Adams founded and currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for The Plastic Surgery Channel. A multi-media information source for plastic surgery. Currently different platforms for credible information exchange are being developed thru the channel to benefit patients, surgeons and industry.
Dr. Adams is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. A member and board member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), President of ASERF (Aesthetic Society Education and Research Foundation), Texas Society of Plastic Surgery, President of the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons.
