Dr. Adams and his entire team are phenomenal. I am only 10 days post-op, and my experience from consultation through recovery has been nothing short of exceptional. I underwent a breast revision with pocket repair — this being my second pocket repair after a prior surgery with another surgeon. From the very beginning, Dr. Adams was honest, transparent, and realistic about my options and potential outcomes. During my consult, he clearly explained that a lift would be necessary and was upfront about not being able to maintain my prior size long-term if the pocket repair was going to be successful. I appreciated his integrity and trusted his expertise completely. Even at just 10 days post-op, I can already tell my results are going to develop beautifully. I also have the option to size up in about 12 months once everything has fully healed, which gave me peace of mind knowing this was a long-term, thoughtful plan — not a rushed decision. I’m just one week post-op from my augmentation and lift with Dr. Adams, and I can confidently say: it was 100% worth it and I’d do it all over again. Even at my consultation, the entire team made me feel welcome and cared for. Every person on Dr. Adams’ staff greeted me by name, and that personal touch continued all the way through surgery and recovery. I was most nervous about pain and downtime, but surgery day was smooth and seamless. I spent about 6 hours total at the surgical center, then returned to my hotel, took a nap, showered, went out for a late lunch, did some shopping at NorthPark, had dinner, and was in bed by 9 PM! I had hardly any discomfort the first few days and didn’t need any prescription pain medication until day 4, when I took a single dose after a full work day. That was it — and even then, it was more precautionary than necessary. I had surgery on Thursday and returned to work on Monday. I knew I had chosen the surgeon to give me beautiful and optimal results — but I didn’t realize I was also choosing the surgeon who would give me the easiest, fastest recovery imaginable. I did an extensive amount of research and found Dr. Adams. I traveled to Dallas from South Carolina for his skill and reputation for 24 hour recovery and excellent results. There is nothing that I would change about my experience! His team was in contact with me multiple times prior to my arrival so I felt very prepared and comfortable. We flew into to Dallas and met with Dr. Adams the following day. He explained his tissue-based planning methods and presented me with my options. We made a decision and I felt so excited and comfortable when leaving. Any nerves I had were gone! Surgery was the next morning and the staff at the surgery center was awesome! I was in and out in just a couple of hours. I followed his step-by-step instructions and felt good enough to go to dinner and an NBA game that night! They are so organized, took amazing care of me and gave me the prettiest results! Ellery felt like sunshine and made the whole process so seamless. When my procedure required a bit more than anticipated, she pivoted so fast. She had new meds waiting at the pharmacy across the street and a new customized, post-op booklet waiting for me in recovery! (Like how?? I think she’s magic.) She truly gave the highest level of patient care! Dr. Adams, of course, did a phenomenal job and I felt so comfortable with his expertise. The surgical team was also top-notch. I had a lot of nerves about the surgery day/process itself. It was way better than I could’ve imagined. The staff from pre-op to recovery, had me feeling so comfortable.
