Dr. William P. Adams Jr. is a Board-Certified plastic surgeon and an internationally recognized authority on breast augmentation and breast implant research. He spent his first 10 years in practice within the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center before transitioning to full-time private practice — allowing him to devote more time to his patients and to advancing the science of cosmetic breast surgery.
He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center and serves as Director of the UTSW Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship Program — training the next generation of plastic surgeons.

Experience
Dr. Adams spent his first decade in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center before transitioning to full-time private practice. He remains an Associate Professor at UTSW and Director of its prestigious Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship Program — one of the few programs of its kind in the United States.

Life Outside of Plastic Surgery
Dr. Adams resides in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, two children, and two cats. Outside the operating room, he’s a passionate supporter of his son and daughter’s athletic pursuits and an enthusiastic cyclist.
A devoted fan of Dallas sports teams, 80’s rock music, and a good craft beer, Dr. Adams is currently learning to play guitar. His love of travel keeps him connected to a broader world — just as his love of teaching keeps him connected to the future of plastic surgery.
