Restoring Mom Con dence
with a Breast Lift
Many moms pay a small but signi cant price for their
children when it comes to changes to their breasts. Even in
young moms, the bodily changes during pregnancy, in
addition to breast feeding, may remove many of the
youthful aspects of her chest.
D Dr. William P. Adams Jr. sees many patients post-pregnancy
curious as to how breast surgery might correct and restore
fullness and shape to their breasts. One patient in
particular, Marissa, was but 23 years old looking for a
breast lift after breast feeding following two pregnancies.
Liike many mothers, Marissa was lacking con dence in her
L
physical appearance. “I didn’t feel con dent in myself and
that’s the most important thing,” she said. “I’m young still,
I’m 23 years old, and I do not like the way they look.”
Restoring Breast Shape and Volume
A breast lift procedure is meant to truly restore a breast
to a more youthful, shapely time. Weight loss and gain
during pregnancy in addition to breastfeeding can alter
the volume of the breast, leading to stretched skin and
ultimately sagging. This can be dramatic or slight, but
even small changes can have a big impact.
