Cohesive gel study Information

 

 

 

 

 Mentor Corporation named  Dr. Adams the national medical director for the Mentor Cohesive Gel Implant clinical trial in 2002.

contour_profile_gelweb.jpg (23335 bytes)The cohesive gel implant may offer patients advantages over existing implants.  The implant has been used with excellent results in Europe and Brazil and now will be used for the 1st time in the United States.   Dr.  Adams' early experience with this implant has been very favorable.

 Dr. Adams will be using this implant for selected augmentation, revision, and reconstructive patients.

The phase I study began in  January 2003.  Early   results  1-2  years post-operative  have  been  very  favorable.
